Kevin Green –  Director of Baseball Operations, North Campus / Militia Program Coordinator / Professional Baseball Instructor

Kevin Green photoKevin is a native of Utica, New York. He attended Mohawk Valley Community College (93-95) in Utica, New York. He furthered his education at Ohio Dominican University (95-97) and Dowling College (99-01) where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, respectively.

Kevin was drafted in 1995 by the Florida Marlins out of Mohawk Valley Community College. During the summer of 1997, he signed with the Marlins as a free agent. As a Marlin from 1997-1999, Kevin played in the NY Penn League, Midwest League and Florida State League as a Center Fielder.

Kevin has had the opportunity to be affiliated, either through coaching or instructing, with many different baseball organizations which include: the Chicago Cubs Minor League Hitting Coach (2006-Boise Hawks, 2007-Peoria Chiefs); 2005 Guest Spring Training Coach- Pittsburgh Pirates; Director of Baseball Operations (2003-2005) at The Diamond Training Center; AAU Head Coach 18U (2005), Assistant Coach in the Cape Cod League (2003); New England Collegiate Baseball League (2000-2001); and Dowling College NCAA Division II (1999-2002). During Kevin’s college baseball career, he was named as a Third and Second Team Junior College All American, also he was named an NAIA Honorable Mention All American and participated in both the JUCO (1995) and NAIA (1996) World Series.

Kevin is no stranger to the sport of baseball. His varied baseball experiences, with both playing and instructing, enable him to bring a wealth of baseball knowledge to this organization. We are very pleased to have Kevin as Director of Baseball Operations for the North Campus.

Josh Sharpless –  Professional Baseball Player & Instructor

Josh is a 24th round pick of the Pittsburgh Pirates, for whom he played for 5 seasons. He played parts of two seasons in the Major Leagues with the Pittsburgh Pirates and was ranked as their 4th best prospect entering 2007. He finished the 2008 season in the San Francisco Giants minor league system. Prior to his time in the Major Leagues, he participated in the 2006 XM Satellite Future All-Star Game at PNC Park.

Josh is a 1999 graduate of Freedom high school and a four year starter at Allegheny College. We wish the best of luck to Josh in the upcoming season and are very proud to have him as a professional baseball instructor.

Kyle Landis –  Professional Baseball Player & Instructor

Kyle is a native of Hazleton, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Hazleton Area High School in 2004 where he lettered 3 times in baseball and helped lead his team to two conference championships while pitching a no-hitter in his senior season. Kyle also played for the Moosic Mets traveling baseball team while in high school and was named MVP in the Bellefonte Bandits Shootout tournament. Kyle then attended the University of Pittsburgh where he pitched out of the bullpen, serving in long relief and as the closer. He also made 5 starts in his collegiate career. In 2007 he was named to the All-Big East Conference third team and led all of NCAA Division I baseball with the lowest ERA for over half of the season, finishing with a 2.12 ERA. Kyle was then drafted in the 18th round of the 2007 amateur draft by the Cleveland Indians. His professional debut was made in June of 2007 with the Short Season Class A affiliate Mahoning Valley Scrappers where he was named to the New York-Penn League All-Star team, and set a franchise record with a 0.33 ERA, giving up just one earned run in 27 innings pitched with 37 strikeouts, 6 saves and 1 win. In 2008 Kyle started the season with the Low Class A affiliate Lake County Captains where he had a 1.97 ERA in 59.1 IP with 73 strikeouts, 6 saves, and a record of 1-1. Kyle was promoted to the Class High A affiliate Kinston Indians of the Carolina League where he finished the 2008 season. In the 2007 off-season, Kyle instructed numerous young players in private lessons as well as being a regular instructor for the North East Baseball Academy in Hazleton, Pa. We wish the best of luck to Kyle in the upcoming season and are very proud to have him as a professional baseball instructor.

Dom Duggan –  Professional Baseball Player & Instructor

Dom is a 2003 graduate of Seneca Valley High School, where he was a three-sport athlete, playing baseball, basketball, and football. He earned all-section honors in each of those three sports. He attended Coastal Carolina University from 2005-2007, earning All-Conference honors during two of those seasons. As a three-year starter in the outfield, Dom played on two conference championship teams. He was eventually named to the All-Region team following the 2007 Myrtle Beach Regional where Coastal Carolina was the #1 seed. He was then drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 32nd round of the 2007 MLB draft. During his first season, he played for the Arizona League Giants and was named player of the month for August. During the 2008 season, he played for both the Augusta Greenjackets (low-A affiliate) and the San Jose Giants (high-A affiliate). While with the Greenjackets, he won the South Atlantic League championship. We wish the best of luck to Dom in the upcoming season and are very proud to have him as a professional baseball instructor.

David Cline –  General Manager, North Campus / Professional Baseball Instructor

David Cline photoDavid attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated with a B.A. in Administration of Justice. While at the University of Pittsburgh, David played left field and center field for the Panthers, earning three varsity letters. David was twice named the Big East Conference player of the Week. Before attending the University of Pittsburgh, David led Mercersburg Academy to 3 conference championships, and also brought them to the Pennsylvania Independent Schools State Championship in 2001. During his senior season, he earned the Herald Mail Co-Player of the Year for 2002. In the summer of 2005, David competed in the Jayhawk League, also participating in the NBC World Series as a member of the El Dorado Broncos. That summer, David was also voted as the #5 prospect in the Clark Griffith Collegiate Baseball League. David topped off his playing career by leading the Pittsburgh Pandas to the 2006 NABF College World Series, where the Panda’s came out on top as World Series Champions. In the spring of 2007, David coached the 11U Revolution National Team. David also went on to coach the 12U Red & Blue teams in the fall of 2007. We are very pleased to have David as a professional baseball instructor at the All American Baseball Center.

Sean Walker –  Professional Baseball Instructor

Sean is a 1998 graduate of Pine Richland High School, where he earned 4 Varsity Baseball Letters. During his time there, he also earned All-Conference honors as a pitcherduring each of his 4 seasons. After graduation, he attended Brevard Community College in Melbourne, Florida.

While at Brevard, Sean played in the annual Florida State All-Star Game during his sophomore season. He also received All-Conference honors twice, as well the All-State Award.

After Brevard, Sean attended George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, where he finished his collegiate baseball career. He compiled a 6-1 record and received All-Conference honors during his first season. We are very pleased to have Sean as a professional baseball instructor at the All American Baseball Center.

Rich Majewski –  Director of Programming / Professional Baseball Instructor

Rich Majewski photoRich is a native of Kennedy Township, Pittsburgh Pa. He graduated from Our Lady of the Scared Heart (Moon Township) in 2002. While lettering 4 years and making All-Conference in baseball his sophomore, junior and senior years, he helped lead the OLSH Chargers to 2 section championships. Rich also was a 3 year letterman in golf. Rich went on to play baseball for Bethany College in Bethany, WV, where he started out playing SS his freshman year, then finishing his career in the outfield. By his junior year, Rich was voted team captain. During the 4 years that he played at Bethany College, Rich was named Collegiate Baseball Pre-Season Player to Watch each year. He was also voted First Team All-Pac during his sophomore, junior and senior years and was voted Second Team All-Pac his freshman year. After playing for Bethany College, Rich volunteered with them for one semester. Rich has also coached the 12U & 13U teams here at the All American Baseball Center. We are very pleased to have Rich as a professional baseball instructor at the All American Baseball Center.

Eric Kuczma –  Professional Baseball Instructor

Coach Kuczma has been a coach at All American since the fall of 2006. He coached the Revolution 14U national team in the spring and summer of 2007 and was a part of the staff running the 14U-18U Revolution fall-ball program at LaRoche College in the fall of 2007.

In 2008, Kuczma coached the Revolution 15U national team in the spring and summer and the Revolution 11U Red fall-ball team which finished the season with a perfect 12-0 record, winning the “King of the City” Tournament and the Squirrel Hill Tournament.

Kuczma began his coaching career in the fall of 2002 as the Head Junior Varsity and Assistant Varsity baseball coach, working at the varsity level as the hitting coach. Defensively, Kuczma worked with catchers and first-basemen. In the fall of 2005, Kuczma became the Assistant Varsity Head Coach, responsible for all areas of planning and instruction, while retaining his duties of hitting coach.

During his time on the Brashear Staff, the Bulls compiled a record of 66-33, appeared in three City Championships, won three Section Championships, and competed in the PIAA State Playoffs. In 2004, the Bulls won the City League Championship. Several Bulls went on to play at the D-I, D-III, and Junior College levels, including an All-American, Academic All-Americans, and a Conference Player of the Year.

In January of 2008, Kuczma joined the staff of Woodland Hills High School as the team’s top assistant and infield coach. The Wolverines finished tied for the team’s highest win total in five years.

Kuczma is currently in his first year on the staff of Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School, where he will serve as the top Varsity Assistant and infield coach.

Kuczma graduated from Brashear High School in 1998, where he was a two-year starter and letter winner in football and baseball. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2003 before earning his M.S. in Education from Duquesne University in 2005.

Kaitlyn Schuster –  Professional Softball Instructor

Kaitlyn Schuster photoKaitlyn Schuster graduated from Ellwood City High School in 2005. In her senior year she posted a 0.39 ERA, 0.71 ERA over four years and struck-out 732 batters over her high school career. After graduating she went on to play for the University of Pittsburgh. Her freshman year she started two of seven games. Her sophomore year she made 18 appearances, including two starts and recorded a team-leading three saves. In her junior year she made an appearance in 14 games posting a 2.17 ERA and tied for second overall on the career saves list. Coming into her first year at the All American Baseball Center, Kaitlyn will be finishing up her senior year at Pitt where she is a co-captain of the squad and looking forward to achieving her certificate to teach Social Studies from Pitt’s Graduate School of Education.

Autumn Hubert –  Professional Softball Instructor

Autumn Hubert is a native of Emsworth, Pennsylvania. She currently attends LaRoche College where she is majoring in sports marketing and management. In her freshman year at LaRoche, she was their starting 2nd baseman and finished her season with a batting average of .438, a slugging percentage of .663 and a fielding percentage of .970. Her LaRoche freshman honors include Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Player of the week, Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Second Team All-Conference, and LaRoche College Softball MVP. In addition, Autumn led her college team in hits, RBI’s, doubles, and stolen bases. Autumn also plays for the Lady Pittsburgh Roadrunners, where last year her team placed second in the 2008 ASA World Series.

Autumn is available to give fielding and hitting instruction to softball players.
